Partnership Agreement and Project Proposal Guidelines.

The Travellers’ School Charity requires:

Communication

Initial proposals and presentations preferably made in person at trustees meeting,

backed up by written statements. Responsibility of TSC partner organisations to maintain regular communication about the development of project/s either in person at Trustees mtgs. Or by issuing comprehensive information updates in writing (pro forma)

Fundraising

All funding applications must be approved in final draft by fundraising committee before submission to grant makers, if deemed necessary by the Trustees. Groups working on similar projects are expected to co-ordinate with each other (e.g. staff meetings co-operate on fundraising applications)

Administration/Audit/Bank Charges may need to be considered, e.g. If funds transferred through TSC.

Management Issues

Partner organisations agree to engage in abide by trustees decisions TSC requires clear proposals detailing what partner organisations hope to achieve by affiliating to the charity any TSC resources partner org wish to use (e.g. headed paper etc) TSC requires partner organisations to familiarise with and agree to policies including (where relevant)

Obligation to inform TSC of any changes to original proposals umbrella groups

Process

Project proposal presented at meeting (in person or on paper) link person from trustees appointed to liaise with project redrafts until agreement arrived at between TSC and project covers who decides what, who does what (delegated powers) includes operational targets, appropriate channels for feedback.
