TSC Funding
The Computer Classroom Project received £500 from
Groundswell for fuel, and £4000 from the Tudor
Trust. Laptops were funded by The Esmee Fairbairn
Foundation.
The TSC has insufficient funding, even to cover
Childcare at Meetings. The Trustees are covering
expenses, and the charities core costs, out of
their own pockets. There are just a handful of
paying subscribers to the Newsletters. Please see
the subscriptions information on the back page.
The Newsletter Mailing list will be getting
overhauled before the next issue.
The TSC is preparing to apply for funding through
the European Commission.
There are possibilities of grants for school age,
and adult education.
We have recently failed in applications for grants
from Nationwide, Henry Smith, The Variety Club,
and Comic Relief. Who were also unable to
fund a TSC supported application by the Gynormous
Rawkus Performance Arts Group, for a 2 week
training camp for traveller children. Maybe
another year!
Seven new applications are being prepared
